Our theme for the day seemed to be "Boats on Dry Land."
And, of course, many beautiful homes line the shores of the Intracoastal
We made it to the bridge, with about 20 minutes to spare. Lou says this is only one of two pontoon bridges still operating -
The blue and white boat on the sandbar went screaming by us earlier in the day - really don't think that's where he wanted to end up. We didn't laugh too hard, as we had a couple close calls in the heavily shoaled area - but made it through safely. SeaTow was busy today, as there were lots of calls from boats requesting assistance.
Not a great day for photos. We arrived at Seapath Marina in Wrightsville at around 3:30pm - just as it started raining again. Now to decide on dinner, and get ready for an early start tomorrow!
