Day 21 - Solomon's Island to Annapolis, Maryland

Another boring day ... that means sunshine and no problems, so we love boring days.

We stopped at the fuel dock on the way out of Solomon's Island - hard to see the name on the little tug, but his name is "Big Lou."





We spent the entire day traveling North on the Chesapeake Bay - cruising at about 16 knots. A nice smooth ride today. A little hazy out, so not good for photos, but you can see the water was nice and flat:










Coming into Annapolis - the first thing you see is the Naval Academy (will try to get a better photo tomorrow when it's not so hazy):





We no sooner got settled in our slip and there was another darned Pirate Ship after us !!!





Went for a walk around town - quite the busy place! Graduation is next weekend, so we wouldn't even have been able to stop here. They have some dockage and a large dingy dock right in town (we'll be walking to dinner - at Pusser's which is the blue awning on the left - no doubt this will bring out some good stories about Pusser's in the BVI with A&M, and Capt Matt and Beth):





Our boat is the little dinky one in the middle. We are just across from the Naval Academy, and could hear the announcer if a Navy football game was on tonite.





I walked by the entrance to the Academy - gosh those boys look young!
