Day 27- Norwalk Cove to Old Saybrook Point, CT

Difficult to top our trip through New York, but we had to keep moving North. We left Norwalk Cove Marina, not sure what to expect weatherwise, as it seems to be changing by the hour - from 90+ when we arrived to cold and misty the next morning.

Leaving Norwalk Cove - it's on our top three for Marinas - top three "unfriendliest," I should add. Seems the farther North we go, the less welcoming the Marina staff is.

A high-rise bird condo ...

Saw lots of light houses today - and many of them are still in use.

And, some lovely homes...

We traveled through Long Island Sound all day, then approached Old Saybrook Point:

Abby, the Marina Manager, and her assistant were there to help us tie up. The jinx of unfriendly marina staff has been broken! Everyone here is very nice and helpful, and we had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant located next to the marina. The weather was sunny with a cool breeze.
