Day 20 - Cape Charles, VA to Solomon's Island, Maryland

Made great time today - crossing the Chesapeake Bay in good weather. Not a lot to see, but it was nice to have sunshine again.

This "little" fishing boat gave us a couple of nice wakes that sent things flying in the cabin:

It was nice to see a few sailboats out with their sails up ...

Saw some more military action today as we were nearing the Potomac River - this Catamaran "warship" was actually being towed in (EDIT - upon a closer look - not a warship, but a fuel barge - oh well, it was more fun to have a warship)

An old lighthouse - no longer in use today -

One of the few power boats we saw today:

We are definitely in Sailboat territory ...

Thanks, everyone, for the Birthday wishes! Had a great day, and getting ready to go for dinner.
