Last nite, a beautiful sailboat came in next to us - it was only 130 feet or so ;) Also caught a photo of it this morning - today was much cooler and windy when we left - it was pretty cool all day until we docked in Georgetown.
Heading out of Charleston
We didn't have too much excitement today - a fairly long run, mostly straight and narrow. We did have another attack of the killer gulls:
Wildlife sighting -
We arrived at the Harborwalk marina in Georgetown (3rd oldest city in So Carolina!), a sleepy town on Sunday afternoon. A couple of Pirate Ships were waiting for us (the Nina and Pinta on their way to Philadelphia):
We'll have an easy dinner at one of the local taverns, get a good nite's rest and start all over again tomorrow!
Happy Mother's Day Sharon! Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing day - minus the seagulls - glad to hear it. :-)
ReplyDeleteSharon, Rick and Chris seem to follow you as I see on the last photo! *run and hide!*
ReplyDeleteA Reminder ... more boat photos in the extra stuff..
ReplyDeleteI told her we were on Rick's pirate ship looking for her. ;)
