Day 22 - Annapolis, MD to Summit North, Delaware

Left Annapolis and all the dedicated young servicemen behind this morning, as we headed up the Chesapeake and into the C&D Canal (that's Chesapeake & Delaware for you landlubbers ;) ). Fortunately, no one suffered any ill effects from the Pusser's Pain Killers last nite.

Overcast and threatening rain as we left:

A few of the cadets out on early morning maneuvers:

Not a lot to see today - water was a little choppy, but still a smooth ride. Admittedly, I stayed down below reading a book for much of the trip, because there was a lot of water spray up top. Didn't start seeing much besides water 'til we started into the C&D Canal - it was a very wide canal!

We made it to the marina before 2pm. It's quite a large marina, even though it's in the boondocks. About a mile to walk to the dockmaster's office!

The Delaware State Police copter circled the Marina for about 10 minutes this afternoon, but that's all the excitement so far. Bar-B-Q'ed hotdogs on the dinner agenda for tonite!

Sound like you are having a great time. Amazing pictures (of course, my favorite was the sub)!
